The NERIST Rongali Bihu Celebration Committee (Luit) 2025, an initiative by the students, residents and cultural enthusiasts near the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), Arunachal Pradesh, has consistently been dedicated to promoting the rich cultural heritage of Assam. The event features a variety of traditional Assamese performances such as Bihu dance, Bihu Geet (songs), and instrumental music, along with Assamese cuisine, art exhibitions, and craft displays. The event also includes workshops and cultural programs aimed at educating participants about the history and significance of Rongali Bihu. The NERIST Rongali Bihu Celebration Committee (Luit) 2025 represents a significant effort to promote Assamese culture in Arunachal Pradesh and the wider northeast region.
